Syed Ahmed was born on November 29, 1786 in Rae Bareli. Entered school at the age of four. There was no special attraction towards education. Soldiers were more interested in sports. When he reached puberty, he changed his service. At the same time, the taste for worship increased and tahajjud prayer became the norm.

 

At the age of 17, 18, he went to Lucknow for his livelihood. He spent a few months there and then left for Delhi to meet Shah Abdul Aziz, the grandson of Hazrat Shah Waliullah. Shah Sahib entrusted him to his brother Shah Abdul Qadir for the purpose of education and training. Here Syed Sahib did not complete the curriculum, but he got the necessary familiarity with religious sciences.

 

After spending four or five years in Delhi, he returned to Rae Bareli. A few years later, he joined the army of Nawab Amir Ahmad Khan. Here he started preaching and preaching among the soldiers. Amir Khan wanted to expel the British from India. When Amir Khan could not resist the increasing power of the British and was forced to accept an attitude of reconciliation and subordination to them, Sayyid Ahmad tried his best to stop him from reconciliation and to keep him at war, but he was not willing.

 

So, after being associated with Amir Khan for more or less 6 years, Syed Sahib separated and again went to Delhi with Shah Abdul Aziz. He was 33 years old at that time. Shah Abdul Qadir had died.
