What a tragedy it is that we resorted to mere tears of regret to heal the scars of East Pakistan's defeat. And that's not enough! Rather, we are now worrying about forgetting those martyrs who never hesitated to sacrifice their lives in response to the call of the motherland.
In fact, it unveils a chapter of East Pakistan that we are trying to forget. The story is a vivid picture. Commando is the great story of courage and independence which is written by the living nations with the light of blood and which the future generations grow up reading.
Commando, is a window into the past when the process of dismemberment of Pakistan began when one brother refused to screw the other and accepted the leadership of a third party. And Tariq Ismail has made the same plot in such a way that he wants to praise this writer step by step.

When I was imprisoned in India. During the interrogation, an SP of the Indian Intelligence Service had said, "You may go to Pakistan in this birth, but your body will remind you for many lives that you have crossed the Indian interrogation."

That cruel SP was right. It has been almost eight years since I returned home today. Sometimes I look at the helpless physical and spiritual wounds, then every wound of mine automatically starts testifying to the truth of the words spoken by this SP.

The same pain and agony at the hands of the enemy took the form of “Main Ek Jasoos Tha” and this pain has now culminated in “Commando”.
“Commando”, from the wounds of East Pakistan, is the blood-colored story that we continue to suppress in time and the stories of the martyrs have become a forgotten memory of the past for us. Isn't it because of our intentions that we have shaken this tragedy from our minds in a short period of ten or twelve years as if it had never happened to us? As if we could not find a trace of our eternal enemy, the slayer who has always supported these storms and storms.
