This Chahal Hadith compiled by Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlavi (d: 1762 AD) has different characteristics. All the hadiths of this Chahal hadith have been narrated by Shah Sahib from the same chain of chain of chain and he has expressed his satisfaction on the authenticity of this chain of chain. It is as if these hadiths of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached Shah Sahib through 24 channels. The last narrator is Hazrat Ali Karamullah.

 

I have copied the hadiths in the order in which Shah Sahib has compiled them and have listed their sources along with all of them.

 

 The hadiths quoted in Chahal Hadith are very comprehensive and cover various aspects of life. Although the words of hadiths are short, but in terms of meanings and concepts, there is a great breadth in them. Since the words are short, it is not difficult to remember them and keep reading. Urdu translation and brief interpretation of hadiths have also been done for the convenience of people.
