Syed Ahmad Barelvi (6 Safar 1201 AH/29 November 1786 - 24 Dhu Qadah 1246 AH/6 May 1831) was a religious scholar who was born in Daira Shah Ullamullah, a town in Rae Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, India. From his childhood, he was very fond of horse riding, male and military sports and sports. After the death of his father, in search of livelihood, he left for Lucknow with his companions and from there to Delhi, where he met Shah Abdul Aziz Muhaddith Dehlavi and Shah Abdul Qadir Dehlavi. There was a revolution in ideas. Shah Waliullah came into action with Muhaddith Dehlvi's movement and his renewal work.

 

This was the time when the political power of the Muslims in India was dying, polytheistic practices and innovations were gaining strength in the Islamic society, the Sikhs had occupied the entire Punjab and the rest of India had been occupied by the British. Syed Ahmad Shaheed began to gather the children of Tawheed under the banner of Islam and raised the voice of Jihad, the echo of which was heard from the peaks of the Himalayas and the plains of Nepal to the shores of the Bay of Bengal, and as a result, the Mujahideen movement came into existence. The example of which is not found in the last centuries.

 

Due to certain political requirements and military interests, Syed Sahib started his campaign from the north-west border of India. By fighting the Sikhs, he imposed Islamic laws in the conquered areas. But finally in 1831, as a result of Ranjit Singh's efforts, some of the local Pathans disloyalized and Syed Sahib and some of his companions were martyred in Balakot field.

 

The first caliph, Abu Bakr, came out after offering the Asr prayer and saw that Hasan was playing with the children. Smiled.
