Sultan-ul-Arifin Hazrat Sultan Bahoo was born in Shorkot in 1039 AH. His father Muhammad Bazid was a righteous Quran reciter and jurist who was the fort holder of Shorkot fort in Jhang district during the Mughal era. His wife Bibi Rasti was one of the saints. He belongs to the Qutb Shahi Awan (Alavi) tribe, which is related to Hazrat Ali through 31 lines. His mother Majda was told by inspiration that soon a perfect saint will be born from her womb and he will be named Bahu. So Mai Sahiba named you Bahu.

 

Hazrat Sultan Bahu wrote more or less 140 books for the guidance of Taliban Mullah and the characteristic of all his writings and compilations is that he does not talk outside of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, first he writes the blessed verse of the Holy Qur'an, then the Holy Prophet. He narrates the blessed hadith and then mentions what the seeker has to explain.

 

There are 151 verses in the 182-page Persian text of Zarat Sultan Bahu's masterpiece Mubarak Ain al-Faqr. In this work, Latif, you have argued so much from the holy verses that it seems as if there is no Sufism outside the Qur'an. This book also has the honor of having the verses of every verse in it.

 

You have started this book with a case, in which you have discussed various subjects of Sufism in the light of Quran and hadiths. In the first chapter, you have explained the mystery of monotheism. In the second chapter, you have mentioned the manifestations that come to the seeker while walking in the path of conduct. You have discussed the research of these manifestations, which manifestation is from Allah Almighty and which manifestation is the snare of self and Satan.
